International Yoga Day 2018

What started as fitness in 2005 soon changed to actually enjoying what I did & my journey with Yoga began. Yoga has taught me gratitude & continues to teach me to cope, heal, soothe and connect in the present moment thru my recovery process. As I continue to practice today, it helps me get some respite from the chronic pain. I have modified my practice that works for me which involves a lot of breathing, relaxation & meditation. Yoga helps me unleash that trauma which is necessary to release pain in my body. Modern medicine is advance & fascinating & is the reason that I am walking today, but it is yoga that is helping me get better & is healing me
