I made it to the finish line 🏁 after lots of breaks & family rallying behind me to not give up & on my side every step of the way, I managed to complete 2.5 km, my longest walk thru my recovery (8 months post op).
It was an honor to be a part of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada’s 5 km & 2.5 km walk. I got a blue survivor t-shirt & joined along other brain tumor survivors & heard their stories. Very tired, but just excited to have crossed this milestone.
